What an amazing stay!
The location was perfect tucked away enough to feel peaceful, but still close to great cafes and the beach. The villa was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with a great pool and open living area. Also loved being up on the rooftop for sunset! The staff were super friendly and responsive to anything I needed. Would definitely come back again!

Had a really nice time at this villa it is just as nice as in the photos if not better. Finding a nice place to stay in Uluwatu is hard especially in this area. It was quiet, peaceful and close to a lot if really nice beaches and restaurants. The staff was helpful and made sure that everything during my stay was taken care of. Definitely would stay here again and recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this villa. It’s so spacious and the beds are really comfy. It helped us feel a lot more replenished after travelling for a while. One thing that really stood out was the responsiveness & friendliness of the managers. I’m so grateful for their help in several situations, they were more than accommodating and always on hand if there were any problems. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price!

Pool tile, kitchen appliances, locks, lights, and linen condition are all checked during the inspection visit. Each item gets a pass-or-fail outcome documented in the villa's inspection file before we approve the listing.

Inspected 3 times before we list to our platform
Our quality standards are written, dated, and applied uniformly across every inspection. Comfort, safety, condition, and operational reliability all carry the same weight, and a weakness in any one is enough to disqualify the villa.

Real photos, taken recently, no wide-angle tricks.
Wide-angle lenses make small bedrooms look generous and modest pools look grand. We don't use them — every photograph on our platform is shot at honest focal length, and the image scale is the actual scale.

We accept only villas that has no bad ratings
Our review threshold is higher than the industry default. Villas that would qualify elsewhere with mixed feedback don't qualify with us, and that gap is the structural reason guests find our list more reliable. The threshold has only moved upward over time, and properties grandfathered in under earlier standards have all been re-evaluated against the current one.

Owner identity verified, no anonymous landlords
Documents we require from every owner include government ID, proof of title, business registration where applicable, insurance certificates, and rental licensing. The list is non-negotiable, and the documents are independently verified.

All listed appliances tested and working at inspection
Real-world load testing is standard at Bali Villa Express. AC at peak afternoon heat, washing machines on full cycles, ovens at temperature — the testing is operational, and the results are documented. Demo-mode testing wouldn't catch what guests will encounter, so we don't test in demo mode.
